The Dearly Departed: "First day of shooting"

Sunday marked the first day of shooting for my newest feature film project The Dearly Departed, a Woody Allen-esque ensemble comedy dealing with the aftermath of the passing of a family matriarch and the proliferation of schemes and conniving plots on the part of family members as well as a ragtag group of total strangers.

Dealing with the ensemble of disparate characters reminds me of shooting Clip Joint back in the day...

Thanks to technology, I am able to direct four movies in rotation from three thousand miles away via a Skype connection.
