"In 1960, Peugeot/Renault USA shared common import facilities in New Jersey for the North American market when Peugeot launched their new 403, a 4-door sedan. I am certain many will remember that car and some of you probably owned one.
To publicize this new car from France, Peugeot asked Phil Hill to participate in an unusual way but typical of 50's advertisers. They recorded Phil's voice introducing the new car. Recording him at Riverside Raceway, you hear race cars going by in the background! One side is the 33&1/3 LP, in red, the other side is the nationally famous picture of Phil, sitting on the roof of the Peugeot with his legs hanging down, through the sun roof.
This is a unique piece of memorabilia of a great driver who gave us so much enjoyment every time he sat behind the wheel of a race car during these heroic days of racing.
